Wed, May 28, 2008 - 12:01 AMHows this for starting 'late'. Aside from some ballet, jazz and disco dancing up into my 30's, I started belly dance at 59 ! Call me shameless! I refuse to grow up.

I just sewed a swirl skirt like that. I'm trying to make a bra to go with it.) And I started dance at 43, so I guess I'm a lot later than you.

Yes, since I started late, my whole career in restaurants involved top secrecy on my age, since I wasn't about to let any managers or musicians get a number in their heads! It worked pretty well. Now I'm not doing club gigs anymore I don't care ;-)
