I just joined....I'll be turning 38 next month. I've been dancing for about 3 years, and have fallen in love with the dance and everything about it...especially the silk.

I did Ballet when I was younger (much younger) but in 7th grade I broke my ankle doing a dismount off the balance beam and dancing on pointe ended quickly....fast forward several hundred years.....I found a dance form that my body can handle and my feet sort of (see my latest blog) accept......I've been watching and been somewhat obsessed with for a good 15 years, and was lucky to find a teacher in this remote area I live in. I adore her. -

I'm covered in silk dye, and my students will look at my hands on monday to figure out what colors I used this weekend....Why is it that the dang gloves always break?!
